I was at first unqualified to answer this question, but after reading a Wikipedia article on the subject I feel as though I can competently respond.
It is my personal belief that, no, baboons are not inherently evil. Living in groups, however, can take a toll on a small number of baboons. The black sheep of the family, if you will. Evil can present itself in one of two forms when it comes to baboons and they are mostly relative to your perception. Some would have you believe that the dominant male is evil because he is always bossing people around and killing other baboons and still some would consider this just good leadership. On the opposite end of the spectrum, some believe that the weakest baboon who was always getting picked on and eventually builds up the courage to massacre his entire baboon group in monkey fury is the evil one. Still others will consider this baboon to be merely a revolutionary (see Che Guevara).
In the end, like I said, it’s all relative to your perception, but to answer your question most directly, no, baboons are not inherently evil.
